Wecome to my LAF 2010 Austin Challenge Blog

Despite having not been on a bike in over 25 year plus, I managed to finished 90 miles in the Austin 2009 Lance Armstrong Challenge. I decided to take on this challenge as my way of celebrating 13 years of survivorship. You know...knock another one off of the ole' bucket list!

It was an exciting year filled with bee stings, road rash, and riding in 3 digit heat. You can read about that 2009 year and my experiences on my old blog at http://mylancearnstrongchallenge.blogspot.com/

So...New Year, New Goal, New Blog! I hope you check in with me from time to time to read about my 2010 adventures. Who knows what's in store for me this year!

Texas Weather Looks Promising!

O.K....O.K.... I know that I haven't been blogging like I should, but the weather here has been just horrible lately. It is all I can do to get on my trainer each day for an hour and pound out a few intervals. From the looks of things on the weather channel, it looks like I am not the only one doing indoor riding!

I wish that I had something great story to write about today, but I don't. By the time the sun came out, the temperatures warmed up and I got my work finished at my desk...well it was after 5:00pm (UGH!). My hope is that the weather will be great tomorrow and I will be able to get in a good ride.

Beth and I plan to do an early ride tomorrow....I will let you know how it goes!
